Project 365: Official first week of June

 June 04 –


We had our household prayer meeting via online and it is good to reconnect with our CFC brothers and sisters. This is where I realize that you can really draw strength from other people.

June 05 –


I was trying to upload entries to my Project 365 and our internet is so slow. I thought it was just us who were experiencing poor network.. but then got this advisory from PLDT…

June 06 –


We are planning to go to Solen clubhouse in the weekend, unfortunately got the feedback that it is being renovated. So sad.

June 07 – 


I got invited to join the homeowner’s association of Solen and since houses there have no gates, pets of other people sometimes wander around other people’s houses… here’s a pic of a turtle that was found in the backyard of resident.

June 08 –


It’s Ate Fra’s birthday today… she is now 17 years old… one more year and my niece is already officially an adult! 😊

June 09 –


Gravy Grace (my BRV) is now 3 years old which means I need to have my car registered. Sharing here the smoke emission certificate.

June 10 –




Giulia’s friends planned to watch Little Mermaid together so of course, they cannot watch by themselves only… so the San Beda moms is helping them to execute their plan… Sharing here a screenshot of the available seats for Director’s club because I wanted to purchase the tickets in advance.

Wow! Official first week of June is done! Off to next week!

Here's another recipe of my lovey hubby Gerard. I’m so sorry but we don't have the exact measurements of the ingredients. What you need: Cream Dory fish or any white fish fillet Salt Pepper Magic Sarap Dried basil leaves Flour Lemon juice or calamansi juice Butter Olive Oil Fresh parsley for garnishing What to do:   Make sure your fish fillet is thawed (if using frozen) and the skin surface is dry. You can use a paper towel to dab the fish. Season fish with salt, pepper, magic sarap and dried basil. Note: we used freshly cracked sea salt* and pepper because we think that it gives more flavor. But I guess, normal salt and pepper will do. Magic sarap and dried basil will give an extra flavor and a hint of herb taste. Then brush the seasoned fish with flour. Wee Nam Kee -- a taste of Singaporean Cuisine

My brother in-law would like his dad to have a taste of authentic Singaporean food… and of course the first thing that comes to our mind when we talk about Singaporean Food is no other than “Hainanese Chicken Rice”… Though Hainanese Chicken Rice originated from Hainan, China, it has now also found its home in Singapore as their national dish due to immigration. It is also known as Singaporean Chicken Rice it is served either steamed or roasted. Fortunately, we now have Wee Nam Kee restaurant here in the Philippines. They actually opened late last year and I have read several blogs about it. Wee Nam Kee has made its name originally in Singapore as a top contender for serving the best Hainanese chicken rice alongside Boon Tong Kee and Tian Tian. As I have read in one of the blogs, all their ingredients are sourced locally.  Their secret is that the chickens are freshly delivered everyday from 3 small farm suppliers that alternate delivery. 12.12 : Our forever princess birthday

     Today is 12.12 and this is not just a special day as a lot are on sale in Lazada and Shopee… but because this is the day our princess was born 12 years ago. Giulia is truly an answered prayer, indeed one of God’s greatest gift to our family.       As Giulia grows older, I notice that she is growing to be like me, but definitely a better version. She is smart, witty and funny- actually a natural comedienne. She is a very confident and not self conscious. She is a friend to everyone. She is also very caring,  sweet and thoughtful. She is not selfish as she always thinks about what her brother likes.       I am so grateful that Giulia is like my best friend. I ask her for her fashion advice, on what looks good on me or not. She is better in color combination as I only know blue, black or white. She is also our go-to with techy stuff and socmed apps.
