Day 111 April 22

Good Friday. Started the day with the way of the cross, attended the Veneration of the Cross in the afternoon and joined the Good Friday procession that ended in the evening.














Day 112 April 23

It is weekend and Easter is almost here... it is a perfect time to do general cleaning... we replaced our old curtains and put some new sofa covers... I love the smell of fresh, clean linen!















Day 113 April 24

Easter Sunday! Went to Big Plate for my cousin's double celebration -- graduation and birthday... Happy birthday Boris and congratulations! :)

Day 115 April 26

Halo-halo bonding with my officemates. Since it is summer, our office canteen offers halo-halo for merienda. Taste is ok, considering that is cheap... :)

Perfect shoes! I am looking for comfy flats and I found these... Actually, I already tried this shoes at SM Megamall almost 2 months ago, and I don't like the fit... but when I tried it again, now in Alabang branch... I instantly fell in love with it.. :)

It's Ate Karen's birthday celebration at the Palms Country Club in Alabang... Happy birthday Ate Karen! :)

Here's another recipe of my lovey hubby Gerard. I’m so sorry but we don't have the exact measurements of the ingredients. What you need: Cream Dory fish or any white fish fillet Salt Pepper Magic Sarap Dried basil leaves Flour Lemon juice or calamansi juice Butter Olive Oil Fresh parsley for garnishing What to do:   Make sure your fish fillet is thawed (if using frozen) and the skin surface is dry. You can use a paper towel to dab the fish. Season fish with salt, pepper, magic sarap and dried basil. Note: we used freshly cracked sea salt* and pepper because we think that it gives more flavor. But I guess, normal salt and pepper will do. Magic sarap and dried basil will give an extra flavor and a hint of herb taste. Then brush the seasoned fish with flour. Wee Nam Kee -- a taste of Singaporean Cuisine

My brother in-law would like his dad to have a taste of authentic Singaporean food… and of course the first thing that comes to our mind when we talk about Singaporean Food is no other than “Hainanese Chicken Rice”… Though Hainanese Chicken Rice originated from Hainan, China, it has now also found its home in Singapore as their national dish due to immigration. It is also known as Singaporean Chicken Rice it is served either steamed or roasted. Fortunately, we now have Wee Nam Kee restaurant here in the Philippines. They actually opened late last year and I have read several blogs about it. Wee Nam Kee has made its name originally in Singapore as a top contender for serving the best Hainanese chicken rice alongside Boon Tong Kee and Tian Tian. This is one of the toastmaster speech I delivered a few days before Valentine's day last year. ========== Good afternoon.   February 14 is a red-letter day for many people. This is the day most people look forward to, especially for the lovers.   But for me, this is just an ordinary day, nothing special,   for I   do not believe in celebrating Valentine’s Day. In fact,   I feel awkward to stand in front of you   to deliver a valentine’s speech.   Yes, you guess it right – I am the   scrooge of Valentines.   But before you raise your eyebrows and give me a piercing look, allow me to state my reasons … First, for me, the origins of Valentines day is not clear.
