Day 201 – July 21


 We had the on-the-spot 6S audit by our managers… 6S stands for: Seiri (sort), Seiton (organize), Seiso (sweep), Seiketsu (sanitize), Shitsuke (self-discipline) and Safety.










Day 202 – July 22

It was suppose to be a normal lunch out when it turned out to be extra-ordinary… After lunch, we saw a snake under Imee’s car… super scary!!!






Day 203 – July 23


Saturday means Gerard’s day for cooking… he prepared baked macaroni for lunch… super yummy!


















Day 204 – July 24


As always, Sunday is family day… we had lunch at Luk Yuen, ATC, went to Manila Memorial to visit Daddy.

Day 205 – July 25

Finally, my mom decided to replace the ‘more-than-10-year-old’ sofa… yahoo! Now we just need to convince mom to replace the golden mirror with a TV in the sala… hehehe :)



Day 206 – July 26


It is so nice of Lui to take home a plant souvenir for me from the toastmasters induction of officers last Friday.. now I have a new display on my office table… thanks again, Lui!

I craved for pancakes for breakfast… so I asked a favor from my officemate Cille to buy me some at McDonalds! Yahoo, my wish was granted! :) Thanks Cille!

Thank God it’s Friday! We had lunch at Liyah’s place plus a mini-videoke session…


Day 210 – July 30, 2011


Time for my monthly OB visit… I don’t have a picture instead, I have a sound clip of GB’s heartbeat… :)

Here's another recipe of my lovey hubby Gerard. I’m so sorry but we don't have the exact measurements of the ingredients. What you need: Cream Dory fish or any white fish fillet Salt Pepper Magic Sarap Dried basil leaves Flour Lemon juice or calamansi juice Butter Olive Oil Fresh parsley for garnishing What to do:   Make sure your fish fillet is thawed (if using frozen) and the skin surface is dry. You can use a paper towel to dab the fish. Season fish with salt, pepper, magic sarap and dried basil. Note: we used freshly cracked sea salt* and pepper because we think that it gives more flavor. But I guess, normal salt and pepper will do. Magic sarap and dried basil will give an extra flavor and a hint of herb taste. Then brush the seasoned fish with flour. Make sure to put just enough flour. Brush off the excess. In a frying pan, melt the butter together with the olive oil in medium heat. Once brown, fry the fish fillet for 1-2 minutes each side or unt

Wee Nam Kee -- a taste of Singaporean Cuisine

My brother in-law would like his dad to have a taste of authentic Singaporean food… and of course the first thing that comes to our mind when we talk about Singaporean Food is no other than “Hainanese Chicken Rice”… Though Hainanese Chicken Rice originated from Hainan, China, it has now also found its home in Singapore as their national dish due to immigration. It is also known as Singaporean Chicken Rice it is served either steamed or roasted. Fortunately, we now have Wee Nam Kee restaurant here in the Philippines. They actually opened late last year and I have read several blogs about it. Wee Nam Kee has made its name originally in Singapore as a top contender for serving the best Hainanese chicken rice alongside Boon Tong Kee and Tian Tian. This is one of the toastmaster speech I delivered a few days before Valentine's day last year. ========== Good afternoon.   February 14 is a red-letter day for many people. This is the day most people look forward to, especially for the lovers.   But for me, this is just an ordinary day, nothing special,   for I   do not believe in celebrating Valentine’s Day. In fact,   I feel awkward to stand in front of you   to deliver a valentine’s speech.   Yes, you guess it right – I am the   scrooge of Valentines.   But before you raise your eyebrows and give me a piercing look, allow me to state my reasons … First, for me, the origins of Valentines day is not clear.
