Thank you Daddy, thank you everyone...
Daddy, it has been a year since your passing. But I believe even though you are not physically present anymore, you have your means and ways to make us feel your presence. I am thankful to God, because He gave us people who will help us get through everything. We may not have fully moved on… but at least we have people who are there every time we need them.
Thank you to our relatives from my dad’s side…
Tita Myrna/Tito Ralph and Kaye, though miles away, manages to keep in touch with us through phone calls… always ready to help us in any way.
For Omar and Lenin, thank you for helping us with some errands and for looking after the “coconut plantation” in Quezon. Thank you also for taking care of some of my Dad’s wardrobe.
For Tito Tony, for also taking some time to text and call my mom once in awhile.
Thank you also for our relatives from my mom’s side.
For Lola, thank you for the Sunday dinners… of course now that Ate and Kuya Jon-jon are here already, we will expect Sunday dinners more often… hehehe J
Thank you to Tita Leni and Junelle who now became officially part of the Garin family. J
Thank you to the other siblings of Mommy – Sr. Evelyn - for the prayers, for Tito Eli and Ninong Gard for being like our second daddy who checks on us once in awhile.
Thank you also for our friends, my mom’s friends – dancing group, word sharing circle who became my mom’s strength and comfort.
Thank you also for our helpers, Nanay, Connie, Sansu, Lolit.
Thanks to the people I have failed to mention here.. God knows who you are and you will be blessed for your kindness.
We also would like to thank our dear husbands -- Gerard and Kuya Jon-jon. We really think that God has personally chosen you both to be our partners. Funny it may seems, but both of you are like Daddy splitted into two.
Last but definitely not the least, we thank you Daddy for being our angel in Heaven… I can imagine you now being one of the popular person in Heaven… we thank you for whispering to God our ultimate wish.
Thank you so much Daddy. Now by December, you will have your first ‘apo’. Who knows? You may have personally chosen a cute, pretty, little angel playing around in Heaven and convinced God to send her to us to be your first granddaughter. Maybe it is just taking you a while to look for a handsome little boy, and when you see him, you will again convince God to send him down to be ate’s first born son – JB.
