Chicken Cheese Burger

3 c. ground raw chicken
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. minced fresh parsley
1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 (1 oz.) slices American or Cheddar cheese

Mix chicken, eggs, onion, bread crumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, salt, baking soda, pepper, and oregano in large bowl. Shape mixture into 4 round patties. Heat butter and oil in large skillet over medium-low heat until butter melts; add patties. Cook until golden, 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Place 1 slice cheese on top of each patty. Cover skillet; cook until cheese melts, about 1 minute.

Instead of putting the burgers in normal buns, we opted for burger with rice.Yummy!!!
