January 15 – As always, Sunday is family day. So happy to have dessert with my mom, lola and cousin.   January 16 – It is make-up day for Giulia today. She just turned 11 years old, but I think she has been playing with my make-up eversince she is 5 years old. She is so kikay like me! I don’t mind when she use my make-up every now and then… I feel like this also makes release her creativity and artistry. 😊 January 17 – First time to report in the office for this year. I was not able to take a picture with the whole group, but at least I was able to take a picture with the youngest in our group – Rems. January 18 – Since this is the start of the year, time to file for income tax. So happy that my company is doing this for me. 😊 January 19 – Time for training again. It was a welcome surprise as we were visited by the Chairman Emeritus of JGSummit – no other than – Mr. James Go. January 20 – Happy to be able to finish the Speed of Trust workshop. I hope to be able to apply...

January 8 - Sunday is grocery day and since we want to go home early - me and my daughter went to the mall to find sandals and formal bag for the wedding while the boys went to the supermarket. When we were done, we went to the supermarket to meet up with the boys.. so happy that it seems Gerard's cart was not full... but then, I saw that Gavin has his separate shopping cart filled with his favorite snacks! The snacks were neatly organized in the cart. Hay, my kids are really growing up so fast! January 9 – Gavin will have his first field demonstration in two weeks! We are so excited to see his cute costume. Unfortunately we had to return it in school since it is a bit tight on him. Hay, if only we can make him go on a diet! Hahaha! January 10 – It was so sweet to receive a message from my cousin as she told us about an activity of my niece in school. My niece Xianne was asked to draw about her most memorable experience during the vacation and guess what… she drew a house wit...

Hello everyone!  As I browse my old blogs, I am so happy to read again my entries when I posted a highlight/memorable experience per day for the full year. It is nice to look back on the memories and simple things that made my day.  I would like to renew this project because this make me appreciate the little things and blessings that sometimes we just overlook. This helps me to be more grateful and look forward to each day. Hope you enjoy browsing my little blessings, highlights for the day. Happy browsing! January 1 - For the first day of the year, we had lunch with the Samsons family... it is nice to see again the sister of my Father in-law after so many months.  January 2 - This time, we spent the afternoon to evening with the Garins. I am so happy to see the brother of my dad who now looks so much like Daddy. I can't help but miss my dad more...  January 3 - Back to reality, this is the first working day of the year... and it was a welcome surprise that my first...

2022: A look back...

Today is January 3, 2023. A new year for all of us. I am a bit anxious as we start a new year as we don't know what will unfold for all of us this year. But allow me to look back on the events that happened last year - 2022. January - After all the merry making and celebrations of 2021 as the covid restrictions became more relaxed and we experience a bit of normalcy again... there came the surge of Omicron Variant for Covid 19. Just like most of the people in Manila, we got Covid for the very first time. Our whole family tested positive for Covid. And since most people became sick, we experienced shortage of paracetamol. Over-the-counter medicines to treat fever, cough and colds are all out of stock. Even the laboratories who evaluates the RT-PCR test had a huge backlog and instead of 24 hours results... people get their results for RT-PCR after 1-2 weeks. This is when we realized that a lot are really sick. They said... oh no... is 2022 - 2020 too again?  February - This was a g...
